Wooden wall relief by Hedda Willem Buijs (Zeist 1943), the Netherlands 1960s. Buijs studied monumental design of the Academy of Visual Arts in Arnhem. The relief is composed of several dark stained wooden blocks variating in height. The differences in height, structure and tone creates a very interesting work and causing a beautiful play of light and shadow. Due to the relief and play of light, the work is different from every angle. The work can both be hung horizontally or vertically. In very good original condition.
