Side table by Melchiorre Bega, Italy 1930s. The table is specially made for Casa G. in Bologna for which Melchiorre Bega designed the entire interior between 1935 -1936. The table is very well proportioned and constructed and is showing elegant yet strong Art Deco lines. The wood is showing a very nice wood grain and the the flat side of the top contrasts nicely with the rounded edges of the cross base. In very good condition.
