Large Abstract Black marble sculpture, 1960s
Abstract marble Sculpture, The Netherlands 1960s. The sculpture comes from the entrance from an iconic Mid century modern building where it had an important place, the building is unfortunately demolished. Unfortunately we couldn't find information about the artist but it is most likely from a Dutch artist form the early 60s, a very rich period in the Dutch art scene. The work is a reminiscent of the work of John Pangnark. The sculpture is made of dark hard stone, abstract representation but it's clearly visible that a body was the point of beginning. Large and heavy piece. In excellent condition.
