Solid Oak wooden Tripod Table, France 1950s
Solid Oak wooden France 1950s. Beautiful tripod gueridon with nice sharp pointed shaped legs which beautifully encounter the round solid oak top. The table is a typical example of the French after the war 'Reconstruction' style and has very strong similarities with the design of Jean Prouvé. Unfortunately we have no idea who designed this table, but the quality is very good and we can see from the materials that it is a very early 50s production. The table can offer place to three persons therefore ideal in a small kitchen, as a nice writing desk or a large side table for some nice decorative objects. In very good condition with a nice warm patina.
