Rare XL round dining table mod. ‘T21E SFAX' in Solid elm by Pierre Chapo, France 1960's. Remarkable design made of solid Elmwood with a beautiful exposed grain, giving the table a rich, warm and natural appearance. The sculptural base composed of 5 carved solid legs is the signature for this design and giving it it's impressive architectural approach. The large 8 cm thick solid top has nice skew lined edges and shows refined large wood joints, typical for Chapo’s work. Very stable solid table which offers place for 8 adults easily. Perfect with our matching set of eight S11 chairs. In great original condition with a nice warm glow.
