Extra Large Rainer Daumiller Dining Table in Solid Pine
Rare extra large dining table by Rainer Daumiller, Denmark 1970s. The large and heavy table top is constructed of layers of solid pine slats which creates an interesting pattern. The large top lays on modest strong base with four solid cylinder shaped legs. The table shows a natural exposed grain, giving it a rich and robust look, which is similar to the works of Charlotte Perriand for the Les Arcs Ski resort. Striking long table giving enough place to 10 people.
In good original condition with a nice warm patina.
* Table can easily be heightened by adding a pine wooden construction slat out of sight under the top
