Pair of cube Art Deco armchairs in oak & velvet
Stunning pair of Dutch Art Deco / 'Haagse school' lounge chairs, 1930’s. The chairs are provided with a bulky square seat and back rest that offer great comfort. The seats hang in a cube shaped frame in solid oak which result in an interested use of lines, the cubic frames rests on 4 black ebonized oak blocks. Both chairs are re-upholstered in an original old stock 'burnt orange' colored Mohair velvet, providing a rich and natural warm look.The original spring cords are tightened again and provide great comfort. In very good condition with a nice warm patina on the oak.
