French low Bench in solid Elm, France 1960s

Solid Elm bench or large coffee table in the style of Pierre Chapo, France 1960s. Made of solid warm colored Elmwood with a beautiful exposed grain, giving the bench a rich, warm and natural appearance. All handcrafted with great details showing the skilled craftsmanship; beautiful through dovetail joints for the construction and the thick through dowels which hold the slats on its place. All is doweled, no screws are used. Can be used as a bench, custom made cushion can be made on request, as a long coffee table or as a long side table. In very good condition with a nice warm patina.
