T-Chairs by Katavolos, Kelley and Littell for ICF, 1952

Set of six T-chairs dining chairs by William Katavolos, Ross Littell and Douglas Kelley, 1952. This is the European production; produced by ICF De Padova, the American production was made by Laverne International. Very strong sculptural and architectonical design made out of chrome plated tubular frames, black lacquered metal connection profiles and saddle leather seats. The name T-chairs speaks for itself; if you have a good look at the design you see the T-form coming back everywhere in the design: The side legs, the back leg and the black connection profile. The chair is in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Very solid and comfortable chairs in excellent condition.
